spring 2008 course on urban sensing
this was a cs219 course titled; Leveraging Mobile Phones to Support Participatory Urban Sensing.
It focused on:
- Research challenges in using the mobile phones as sensing devices to learn about ourselves and our environment.
- Applications that take advantage of location, sensing (imagers, microphone, accelerometers) on the phone and review current techniques in local as well as distributed processing.
- Sharing and visualization of mobile phone data.
