System Diagram
- 1) User registration and system usage.
- a) Participant - selects from campaigns that are currently in recruitment phase to participate in.
- b) Creator - provides a campaign executable and campaign-specific information. Specifies the campaign phase timeline.
- NOTE: A user may play both roles.
- 2) One-time installation of Launcher Application necessary for campaign participation.
- 3)
- a) Launcher: Retreives campaign executables and executable updates. Launches selected campaign.
- b) Data Upload: Data collected by the mobile devices running a campaign is uploaded to the Partisan System for processing.
- 4) Partisan passes the data along to the data repository where the campaign creator will be able to retreive campaign data for processing.
- 5) Optional component configured and maintained by the campaign creator for use in post-processing data that will be stored back to the data repository for further processing.
Preliminary Data Results
- Below are the inferred significant locations for two users over a period of 3 weeks of location-time series data collection.
- The markers indicate a location that has been classified as significant to that user.
- Below show how each of data preprocessing steps affect the inferred significant locations for one user.
